I figured for a change I'd give you a few preview shots of what I wore to the event. 

Although the theme was colour, I skipped on wearing this seasons neons and went for a more subtle approach sticking with basic blacks because I have been dying to wear this fringe detail, chiffon, shawl I bought back at home; worn with my all time fav. Forever21 pleather shorts and Halebob wedges.

My work week just started over here in Dubai as the weekend is Friday/Saturday here. So the dreaded Mondays have turned into Sundays and Wednesday is no longer half way through the work week... I have to admit it still feels a little weird to think I have to wake up and go to work early on a Sunday - but it does make Mondays a little easier. So with that being said, while it's 12:45 in the afternoon at home on the East coast - it's 9:45pm here in Dubai and I'm winding down and relaxing, getting ready to head to bed!
