Wedding season is here, that's for sure! Over the weekend my cousin Abbey and a co-worker Elizabeth both tied the knot. One back at home in NY and the other here in NC, up in Asheville. Both weddings [from what I've seen and heard] -stunningly gorgeous brides and amazing ceremonies. I wish I could have been there for my cousin Abbey's wedding - her dress reminded me of the one at the bottom by Monique Lhuillier... and my co-worker and friend, Elizabeth, wore an amazing gown with a fitted bodice and semi full skirt. With all this wedding excitement I can't help but gawk at designers like Vera Wang & Monique Lhuillier. One of my best friends from my first two years of college, Kaitlin, will be getting married next May and my sister is also engaged! With that being said, this post goes out to these beautiful babes in my life! Congratulations ladies, I wish you the absolute BEST! xo

Are these sketches not to die for or what? I just recently completed my fashion sketching course and well, let's just say that sketching is not my forte. You may think it's easy to sit down and create these beauties as seen above, but there is much more to it than that! Having compeleted the course, I now have a TRUE appreciation for fashion sketches although I know I won't be taking the path that leads to becoming a fashion sketch artist. Maybe if you're lucky I'll share my sketches with you to prove my point! [haha]
[My all time fav. from Monique Lhuillier]

P.S. No! Neither myself nor Criss have any plans of tying the knot any time soon. haha
